Personal Data Rights Request
At Datafy, we value your preferences regarding your personal data and are dedicated to respecting your privacy rights. Our commitment extends beyond our clients to also include all visitors to our website, or any covered individual that is included within our analysis software and advertising technologies.
If you reside in a state that grants specific protected data-related rights, you have the option to:
- Opt out of the sale or use of your personal data (e.g. targeted advertising)
- Request a report detailing whether we have collected your personal information over the past 12 months, and if yes, how that information has been used
- Request deletion of personal data we may have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
To take one of the actions above, please complete the following form. The required fields are necessary to verify your identity and ensure the collected data pertains to you. Without sufficient verification, we will not be able to fulfill your request. Including the optional fields may increase our ability to verify your information, but is not required. Any information provided to us through this form will only be used to process your request in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
Obtaining your Mobile Advertising ID
One of the identifiers that we use most often at Datafy is the Mobile Advertising ID (MAID), which is also referred to in their platform-specific forms as the ID for Advertisers (IDFA) on Apple devices or the Advertising ID (ADID) on Android devices. We require this ID in your request, otherwise we will not be able to match your personal data. The instructions for obtaining this ID varies based on your platform. The ID generally has the format of AAAAAAAA-BBBB-CCCC-1111-222222220000 with 5 blocks of characters separated by hyphens.
For Android Users
For most Android devices, you can find your ADID in the Settings app on your mobile device. Go to Settings, then “Privacy” followed by “Ads.” Please contact your device manufacturer for more specific instructions.
For Apple Devices
Apple does not make the IDFA directly available to users on an Apple device. To view your IDFA you will need to install a 3rd party app. You can search for potential apps here. The availability of apps will vary over time and we do not have any specific recommendation regarding which of these apps may best suit your needs.
